Have a look at some popular American slangs used in the United States.

Booze I promised to bring two bottles of booze to the party.

Significado: I promise to bring two bottles of alcohol to the party.

Break it up

Break it up, or I will call the police.

Significado: Stop, or I will call the police

Bring- down

The news of the airplane crash was a bring-down.

Significado: The news of the airplane crash was depressing.

Buck

 Do you have a buck I can borrow?

Significado: Do you have a dollar I can borrow?

Bummed 

I was really bummed after I heard the news.

Significado: I was really depressed after I heard the news.

Bummer

My trip to New York was a bummer.

Significado: My trip to New York was a bad experience.
